Colleges and universities are encouraged to participate while supporting their students as well as writers.
How Colleges Can Help:
Allowing College Bookstores to order and purchase wholesale books from OSL Press and via our website, will help advance our writers better, and in return, if a quota and threshold are met, our publishing company will send the school with the most purchases small recoup grants varying from 15%-40% to distribute to the students finances, rental assistance and/or tuition.
What are the rules for participating?
There aren't many:
College Book stores must purchase on our website.
Required reading IS NOT a must. Only purchases via the bookstore.
If more schools participate in the program, the higher the recoup funds will be in terms of the winning school within the district.
e.g. If 5 schools participate in the state of Missouri. Only the school purchasing 155 books (the most buys) will have a chance to get 40 percent back if a threshold is met of $20,000 or more.
A threshold of $20,000 guarantees higher percentage payouts to schools.
